Music Documentaries
When my mother retired she met a musicologist and Wagner buff called Heath Lees. Having time on her hands, and being an energetic woman, she decided she wanted to make some documentaries with him. I had just come back from living in the States, so she got me in to direct. We made four films on Wagner, one about each of his ring cycle operas, which we sold to SBS, and one on music in general, called Music to your Ears.
